Hi, my name is Todd Loudis and I am seeking a position as Director of Marketing with your company.

My education includes a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri  Rolla in 1984 and a Marketing degree from  Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University) in 1985.
My work experience has been far more important than any formal training I have received. 
As a sales manager and Director of Sales and Marketing for the hotel company, I headed up a sales team of 8 people and was responsible for over $30 million dollars in sales per year.
Wanting to venture out on my own, in 1992, I bought an existing restaurant. I was able to expand the business to include meeting space and outside catering which increased revenues by over 50% the first year for the business.
Having the opportunity to sell the succesful business four years later, I joined an equipment financing firm based in my area. Having to market and sell my services to companies nationwide, I have developed sales strategies and marketing campaigns, not only for my business, but for the companies that I work with in providing financing for their customers.
Outside of my "paid" positions, I have volunteered with a number of organizations. From 1999 to 2001, I was the President of the Board for a local theatre organization. During my tenure, we increased membership subscriptions by 35% and our foundation contributions by over 50%. 
In the last year, I have been the head of a fundraising committe for a local "Center for Children", that works with kids that have suffered from the loss of a parent or sibling. I chaired three events in the last year that have brought into the organization over $20,000 or 30% of the center's operating revenue.
